The Turkey That Would Not Go Away
So while fishing one day at Guernsey Lake in Wyoming we came across this young turkey. I didn't seem too scared of us at the time and just walked around near where we were standing, digging in the ground and finding food to eat. We were getting any bites from fish so as we packed up our gear to leave the turkey followed us and went underneath the car. Now I didn't want to run it over so we kept trying to get it to come out so we could be on our way. We were able to get it out from under the car but it just started following us back as we tried to get in and leave. This happened two or three times. Finally we got the turkey a little ways from the car and we ran back to get in and pull the car out before it had a chance to get back under the car but as we pulled out of our parking space and on to the street we could still see the little turkey running after us.
